My summer bucket list:

Hijack a car (check)
Have a dance party in the street (check)
Forget everything I have learned in school this year (check)
Move to my own private island
Get a job…ugh…
Think of a job to apply for (pending)
Set up a major Slip-n-Slide
Slide down it
Star Wars Marathon!
Bike race with my dad!!

Inspiration

Every time I look for inspiration, I can’t find it. Every time I happen upon it, I forget to use it. Why is that so?

Well, here I am again, looking for inspiration…again…not able to find it…again.

Man, I should write these things down in the future.

Oratory

In debate this year, I had the opportunity to write a 10-minute oratory, memorize it, and present it to my judges as part of my competition. They judged me based on my content and presentation. I ended up taking fourth in state with it.

Just a note, I changed it a little every time. Also, it is dedicated to Tanisha Barker–a great debater who would always get nervous when she spoke.

In this epitaph, One for All, inspiration came to me after (as cliché as it sounds) a dream I had about a little boy. I could not do anything to help him; however, in the end of my dream, as I draped flowers over his grave, I realized I wasn’t supposed to help him. In fact, he helped me; he helped all the future children by bringing attention to this serious problem.
